Put 1 cup oats in a pan, pour in 2 cups of water and sprinkle a pinch of salt and cinnamon on top. Add some raisins for extra sweetness. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring from time to time and watching carefully that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
To serve. Pour into bowls and add your favourite fruits.
- sprinkle some nuts or seeds on the top
- if you use frozen fruit, chop them in the food processor, it will melt quickly
